Volunteers at Greater Flint Outreach Center are the backbone of what we do.  They usually arrive around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday mornings to unload our truck and wait for the Food Bank of Greater Michigan to arrive.  They work tirelessly through rain, snow, heat to make sure we are ready to go at 12:00 noon.

Food Distribution Schedule:

Wednesdays - We hand out numbers beginning at 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Seniors and the disabled who wish to have a priority, must be in line at 10:30 a.m.  Doors open at 12:00 noon.  YOU MUST BE IN LINE WHEN YOUR NUMBER IS CALLED, IF NOT IT COULD RESULT IN YOU MISSING OUT ON PARTICIPATION FOR THAT DAY.

If you are a family you will need to bring proof of the people living in your home.

This includes Birth Certificate or DHS paper which shows who is in the home for children under the age of 18.

Grandparents who have minor children in the home must provide proof that they have custody of these children.

For adults, a copy of their driver's address with same address or State of Michigan ID.

We could also accept mail with the same address.

We also have Food Distribution on Friday nights at 7:oo p.m.  We begin giving out numbers at 5:30 p.m.  Same ID requirements as Wednesday.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE ON WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY EVENING, YOU MUST BRING PROOF FOR EACH DAY SEPARATELY.
